The Mystery of Spiritual Identity and Sonship: Let’s Talk About It! with Kurtis, Dwight and David K.

2022 July 3rd Streaming

I trust you have all been learning to “Live” in Spiritual Identity of Sonship, rooted and grounded in Spiritual Birth in Christ Jesus! During the past six months of 2022 we have been teaching and preaching the mystery of Spiritual Union, Oneness, and Identity of who we are to God the Father! Kurtis, Dwight and I have taught “what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height;” of our Identity in Spiritual Sonship! As Paul said, “And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ:”. This is the Father’s Purpose, Intent and Plan for of His Spiritually Birthed Sons to know and comprehend who they are to Him and who He is to them!

This week in fellowship we are slowing it down a little, planning to answer your questions concerning the message of Spiritual Identity and Sonship! We will trust Father and our teacher the Holy Spirit to answer as many of those as we can.

Can the Circle Be broken? Part 2 With David Kenebrew, Th.D

2022 June 26th Streaming

We will continue with the answer to the question “Will the Circle Be Unbroken?” and expand on brother Kurtis’ message on “The Circle of Life” found in the Father’s PIP (Purpose, Intent and Plan) of Spiritual Identity and Sonship. This past year I stated, “everyone has their own version of heaven and those whom they place in their heaven. No one can enter their version of heaven without their consent. This heaven is for those they love and want to spend eternity with, including family and friends they think, feel and believe God will have join them there in their slice of heaven!” You see this family circle is rooted and grounded in “flesh and blood identity.” According to this prevailing and very subjective human idea of heaven, the circle will be unbroken! Everyone and everything will just continue “on earth as it will in heaven.” This idea completes the “Circle of Life” similar to what brother Kurtis mentioned in his message two weeks ago. Lets talk about it…

Let’s take a look at the answer to the question “Will the Circle Be Unbroken?” and expand on brother Kurtis’ message on “The Circle of Life” found in the Father’s PIP (Purpose, Intent and Plan) of Spiritual Identity and Sonship. This past year I stated, “everyone has their own version of heaven and those whom they place in their heaven. No one can enter their version of heaven without their consent. Everyone and everything will just continue “on earth as it will in heaven.” This idea completes the “Circle of Life” similar to what brother Kurtis mentioned in his message two weeks ago. Let me be clear, he really wasn’t saying that at all. Lets talk about it…

Living in the Father with Dwight Davis, M.Div., M.Th.

2022 June 12th Streaming

We need to be in absolute spontaneous living in and with our Father. Then, we can be led and walk in our Spiritual Sonship. We need to be continuously filled with His Spirit and walk in our Father’s works that He planned and purposed for us to walk in with our Spiritual Sonship. Our Father is a thrice Holy God. Jesus Christ paved the way for us to have imputed righteousness and holiness so that we could walk boldly into a loving fellowship with our Father.

Let’s talk about some of these thing that perhaps can open up more clearly our ability to see, live and walk in the Father in a richer and fuller way!

I was tempted to title today’s message ‘Fun through Physics’, or spiritual birth for engineers, but today, as in college, I find no enjoyment in physics. College electrical physics was by far the most challenging of all my college courses. That being said, I couldn’t help but see the circuitry of mankind when reading 2 Cor. 5:6-7. Let’s look at how they relate to spiritual birth and sonship this Sunday.

Forgetting the Things Behind is Learned! With David Kenebrew, Th.D.

2022 May 29nd Streaming

Learning who you are in Christ as the Spiritual birthed Son of the Father can be a struggle. Many of us forget that learning who we are is a process, a Spiritual process we should be leaning, not something obtained through academics or intellect. This means you cannot learn to live who you are Spiritually by any works or practice of your biological/fleshly identity! There is NO FORMULA! What is the alternative to learn who we are as Spiritual Sons?
Paul tells us in Philippians Chapter 3 we should be “Forgetting things behind us,” but what does that look like? What is the process to make that happen? Is there a process to enable us to “Forget?” Paul opens a door to see something Spiritual concerning this process of Spiritual Identity and the process of “Forgetting things behind” and what it means! Let’s talk about it…

When Do We Learn To Live Spiritually? with David Kenebrew, Th.D.

2022 May 22nd Streaming

My intent this week was to discuss “Who is the Bride of Christ?”  But that message will come at another time appointed by the Father.   Instead, I will look at a subject I was moved by from an email I received this from our dear brother Mark Hopf in Australia.  This one of the things brother Mark said.

I have one question. Let’s say a request. The next time any of the body of ours, has a message on how do we live in this world we don’t belong to! Then let me know, because I will be there in full anticipation.”

I was moved by his words “how do we live in this world…”.  You see years ago when I was in Bible College, I read a book by Francis Schaeffer called “How Should We Then Live?”  At the time I was in the USAF and lived in Minot N.D.  One of our professors found out that Dr. Schaeffer was having a lecture in next door Minnesota. So, they rented a bus and we went to his lecture. I got to meet Dr. Schaeffer and his wife Edith. Who signed the book I brought there? There were many things I read in the book at that time but didn’t connect with.  As I was moved by brother Mark’s email, I pulled out the book (couldn’t find mine so I had to buy another one) and started reading it again.  The things he said in the book about the church and its future decline was very eye opening with that is  happening in the  church today. It is simply incredible. The book was published in 1976.  I don’t think he was writing prophetically, but he was writing concerning from the history and decline in western thought and culture.  He wrote on the church and religion moving away from what he called “Biblical Christianity”.  As we survey the landscape of what many call Christianity and the Church today this dear brother saw the train coming to the station forty+ years ago.  His thesis seems to set before the church the idea that if we continue with its current way of thinking and living, we will lose our identity, form and freedom.  I would have to say when this was written the church and politics had just started dating.  They seem to prophetically be headed toward a marriage of convenience. Our brother was saying, if we know what’s happen in the past “How Should We Then Live” to prevent this from happening. Let’s talk about it…

What about Judas Iscariot? With David Kenebrew, Th.D.

2022 May 15th Streaming

Through the years there have been so many teachings and religious beliefs about this man called Judas Iscariot.  Essentially all of it has nothing good to say about him.  Maybe they are correct, but maybe these teachings and beliefs might not be true at all.  Who was he? We all appear to know everything there is about this disciple and apostle, Judas Iscariot. He betrayed Jesus! And there is nothing else we need to know about him.  Many say “he is lost forever in hell because of his unforgivable deed!” Or some would use the term, “unpardonable sin.”  Almost everyone I have spoken to sees this man in the same light passed down from generation to generation, the very dim light found in man-made religion.  Before we continue, let me remind you everything in the Bible is Spiritual and God breathed! Because it is Spiritually inspired, it must be revealed by the same Spirit which inspired it, the Spirit of God! That makes everything we read in the Bible a mystery, including Judas Iscariot.   How does God’s PIP (Purpose, Intent, and Plan) fit Judas Iscariot? Let’s talk about it…

Woke? With David Kenebrew, Th.D.

2022 May 8th Streaming

It has been stated and echoed for many years that “words” are important. Not only that, but their meaning are just as important as the words themselves. While the “words” may stay the same over time, their meanings can change. These changes happen for various reasons, some simply personal and subjective, or based on the user’s point of view. When this happens the “word” and it’s “meaning” are hijacked to meet that personal need.

A few examples of “words” and their “meanings” hijacked from their original to meet personal and subjective meanings:

Christian

Amazingly, this word is used only three times in the Bible, but is used in conversation more than any other word written in the Bible. I am amazed because over 99 percent of the people you talk to about the word Christian does not know or understand the difference between its original meaning and the hijacked meaning used today.

Patriot

The original meaning of this word carried with it the ideas of honor, dedication, service and personal sacrifice to country. With today’s jacking, everyone is called a “Patriot” (like the word Christian) because they acknowledge a particular political or religious view. Those views do not necessarily carry with them honor, dedication, service and personal sacrifice to country. The meaning today is purely subjective.

So it is with our word in today’s message, “Woke.” Woke has been hijacked from its original meaning to a new personal and subjective meaning today. There is a deeper meaning for this word we will review in this message. Let’s talk about it…

Failure Is Not An Option! With David Kenebrew, Th.D.

2022 May 1st Streaming

Some years ago, I was in a discussion with my lovely wife Katherine about her days in college. During our discussion she revealed to me that worked at NASA for a semester in an internship. She said her job was to load and run the CAD program for the cargo bay of the space shuttle. She loaded the computer program with the payloads the shuttle would carry on future missions. Sometime later our family visited NASA along with the kids. We saw the buildings she actually worked in. One of the things we brought as a souvenir while there was a lanyard which said “Failure is not an option” over and over again on this lanyard. Those words penetrated my thinking and has stuck with me for many years. At the time I didn’t realize where those words originated. Those words came out of the 1995 movie Apollo 13. So, let’s talk about it…
