Behold the Man and his tripartite make up Part 1

Greetings Everyone!

I trust your week and weekend has been going well.  We have been somewhat busy this week. Katherine has been studying and reviewing for her medical board exams.  She took them this past Thursday.  She should know within the next couple of months.  I sense she did well!  Things around here are a little less tense now the board exams are over.  This week we will be looking at man and his three part creation by God.

The way God created man was critically unique in His purpose, intent and plan for the destiny of man.  In His creation God gave man an ability which no other creature processed.  Who and what humankind is to ultimately become rest in our unique creation.   Our New Testament view of man is rooted and grounded in the knowledge and understanding given to the Apostle Paul.  Paul uses roughly 18 terms to describe or behold man. These terms are not written in any other parts of the Bible as they are in his epistles. These terms are;

Old Man   New Man       Spiritual Man  Natural Man  Carnal Man   One Man  Dead Man   Outer Man   Inner Man   Tripartite Man   First Man    Second Man Perfect Man    Corruptible Man    Righteous Man     Good Man    Inward Man    Wretched Man.  Within the list of terms Paul clearly reveals our unique composition of man’s creation by God.  One term he clearly describes us as having three parts.

And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and [I pray God] your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ”. 1Th 5:23

This is the first time in the Bible that someone has specifically identified man as having three parts as his complete or whole makeup.  There other parts of the Bible which speak of these parts separately.   But only here Paul tells us that this is our “whole” composition.  Paul “Behold the man” as having three parts; spirit; soul and body.  A term called “The Tripartite Man.”  So, where did Paul get this idea of man having three parts?  Why just three parts?  Why not two or four?  Let’s start from beginning to see where and how Paul could declare this truth.  Let’s talk about it in fellowship!

Homosexuality and the Power of Desensitization Part 4

2016 Oct 16th Streaming

https://youtu.be/fvdU36_re2M

Greetings Everyone,

This week has come and gone so quickly! The temperatures are cooler and we’ve had rain. Fall is slowly appearing and making itself known. Thank each of you for your prayers and condolences for the passing of Katherine’s mom last week. Your love and concern is a wonderful joy and blessing to us and the family! Thank you again! We trust the Father to finish the message this week on “homosexuality and the power of desensitization.” We’ll look at the real issue! The real issue is Spiritual.

The homosexuality issue as we have discussed earlier is not biological or psychological or genetic. There are a plethora of thoughts, opinions, theories and beliefs concerning the causes of homosexuality, sexual orientation and gender identity. All of them deal with either body or soul. Neither of these can truly provide nor produce a complete and permanent answer to the issue. The reason lies in the part of man which is ignored and seen as irrelevant. It is in the spirit of man where the real victory and power is realized. Man’s true identity is spiritual and not biological nor psychological. These two parts of are important but they are not where our life and identity is located. Our life or death is in spirit! Remember desensitization is a spiritual attack on humankind. It seeks to control the hearts and minds (soul) of humankind with fear! The Old Man.

Homosexuality is a product of the old man. And sadly everyone is trying to fix, repair, accommodate and even change (deliver) this person. God is NOT trying to fix or repair this man! He’s Not trying or in the process of making him different or better! God is Not delivering man/woman from homosexuality or any other sin, life style and identity crisis man finds himself walking in. God has provided an answer and a cure for the old man! What is His answer and cure? Simple death! Not just any death. But the death of another person. Jesus Christ! Let’s talk about it!

Love in Christ,

David & Katherine

Homosexuality and the Power of Desensitization Part 3

2016 Oct 9th Streaming

https://youtu.be/wtWVC9Fbh1g

Greetings Everyone!

We trust all is well with you all.  We have had a busy three weeks.  This past Monday Katherine’s mom went to be with the Lord.  We were there this past weekend and saw her before she pasted.  The Father is so faithful (Eph 1:9)!  We have been really busy on the go all week.  As new creation see-thru-ers we stand with the apostle Paul when he said “Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, [therewith] to be content.”  Thank you for your prayers and encouragement! This week we continue with our message on Homosexuality and the Power of Desensitization.  This week will be part 3 looking at “This is the way God Made Me.”

This idea has come about because of the need to find an answer for the feelings and emotions that drive homosexuality.  Many advocate and believe that those who become “gay” or enter the “homosexual life style” are not that way by choice.  They say these powerful feelings and emotions didn’t come by a choice made by the individual but rather are there by birth.  These individuals are born that way because of their genetic predisposition.  They are born with a “gay gene” and this makes their actions a normal natural response to who they are by birth.   They are not to blame for their sexual or gender choices and decisions. After all if someone is born with certain genetic traits, there is nothing they can do about it except live the way they were born.

This may sound good and acceptable if you are looking for justification.  A very popular statement going around today is, “it’s not your fault”.  If you listen and buy into that line of thinking, then nothing anyone does is their fault. Ultimately this means they have no responsibility or accountability for their decisions and actions.    So, let’s take a look at the “gay gene” idea.   Homosexuals are identified not by a trait or a gene, but rather by their actions.  Without the action, they would be indistinguishable from any other person.  It is only when they alter their behavior that they become a group that is recognized as being different.  If we were to acknowledge momentarily that homosexuality is genetic, then one could conclude that those individuals were not responsible for being homosexual. Their actions and behaviors would be outside of their control.  They would simply be living who they are by birth.  Let’s talk about it…..

Homosexuality and the Power of Desensitization Part 2

Greetings Everyone,

We are quickly approaching the end of September and entering the month of October next weekend. WOW! October, November, December, and then January 2017! This year has come and is almost gone. Moving on. We had a great visit last week with our son, daughter and grandchildren in Arizona. We also stopped and saw the Grand Canyon and Sedona Falls (sadly we didn’t see any waterfalls) while we were out there. We’ll have to go back and see the waterfalls in Sedona. We will continue this week with the message from our last time of fellowship on “Homosexuality and the Power of Desensitization”. We discussed biological identity in our last fellowship. We reviewed the the XY and XX DNA identity God has provided and fixed with His creation of man. The scripture says “male and female created He them” and also “and God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply…” this was the beginning of gender and sexual identity. So, what happened? Fear? Disobedience? Sin? An in-road into the soul/mind? This week we will look at the psychological power of desensitization on “feelings and emotions.” These two drive beliefs, decisions, behavior and identity. Keep in mind the process of desensitization to the person of Christ is the out working of the process of sensitization to the personal we are in the flesh! Let’s talk about it again,

Love in Christ,

Homosexuality and the Power of Desensitization Part 1

https://youtu.be/XoQLn1mLSg4

Greetings Everyone!

We are only a few days from the first day of fall!  The weather here in Dallas is nice for this time of year.  We have had some rain and cool days that provided nice evening walks.  This has been great! Our message for fellowship this week is a very controversial one.  We are going to look at a topic which is both feared and misunderstood by far too many in the Church (the Body of Christ), religion, and most in the world.  Deep fear and anger surround the word “Homosexuality”.  If you listen to either side speaking on this issue you’ll soon see fear, anger and confusion.   This confusion concerning homosexuality will always lead to delusional thinking on either side.  This level of thinking is a by-product of the power of desensitization to the person of Christ.  Many believe and are told that homosexuality is a lifestyle, someone is born this way or it’s an outcome of an experience. It is also thought and accepted that once someone embraces who they are as “gay” or “homosexual,” they’ll become comfortable with themselves and their “true” self. Also, one of the most powerful beliefs is: once you embrace who you really are, you can never go back or escape from this lifestyle.

Although we are going to discuss homosexuality in this message, I will be including the terms transgender, same sex marriage, and sex-change surgery.  I know these words don’t all mean the same thing technically, but each of them are rooted and grounded in the same place.  They also come from the same mind with the same effect on each person who operates under its influence.  Lastly, my intent in today’s message is to confirm what the apostle Paul said in Ephesians chapter 3.

And to make all [men] see what [is] the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ:  Eph 3:9

This does not mean to make all men believe what is being said.  That’s not my job here.  But it is my job or responsibility to share the revelation of the mystery as clearly as I have received it from my Father.  Now please listen very carefully.  It doesn’t matter what you believe about this issue of homosexuality; most are too desensitized to see through to Christ!  Desensitization to the person of Christ keeps fear and anger paralyzing everyone on either side of this issue.  Yes, I said everyone – those who believe it is wrong and those who believe there’s nothing wrong with this lifestyle or practice.  This message is for both those who consider themselves gay or straight; homosexual or heterosexual. The message is also for those who consider themselves Christian but are not actually born again, and for those who are born again believers – regardless of their maturity. There is something bigger than homosexual or heterosexual relations and relationships going on.  Let’s talk about it!

David & Katherine

How are we: With Him (Christ) and in Him and He (Christ) in us?

Greetings Everyone!

Can you believe August is almost over and next Sunday is the 4th of September! And to top all that off the weather here in Dallas is much cooler than normal! Oh, the rain has been in good supply! Speaking of rain we had a thunder storm yesterday and my computer crashed. We also had a wonderful visit with our dear brother and sister Chris and Mylinda Serrioz. They stopped by for a visit while down from KC Missouri. It was great to fellowship with them and hug their necks again! Thanks guys for stopping by! Well, this week in fellowship we will be looking at the Apostle Paul’s unique and bold statements that no other writers in the Bible made. His first was the statement “My Gospel”. He went on to say “In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel.” Rom 2:16. He would go on to use that statement a total of eight times in his epistles. And he didn’t just say “my gospel” but he included the words “according to”. That’s pretty specific and unique wouldn’t you say? But he also said something else which so many read right on by or just flat out ignore. His statement is this: “Whereby, when ye read, ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ” Eph 3:4. He said “My knowledge of the mystery of Christ”. That beloved, is a loaded statement. Far too many don’t like the word, “mystery”. It means that we don’t know something. And very few in the Church today will acknowledge that there is a mystery, much less the need for any revelation.

Many advocate because we now have the Bible, there is no further revelation needed. Why? Simple – you can read can’t you? God gave you five (common) sense/s didn’t He? So, all that’s needed is for everyone to read the Bible and use their God given senses and they can know and understand everything God wants them to know. Sadly the apostle Paul would be the first to disagree with that faulty logic. He would say “no, that’s not what God has revealed to me concerning your sense knowledge”. He would continue ” But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. But God hath revealed [them] unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God. Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.” Then he would conclude by saying “But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know [them], because they are spiritually discerned”. I can hear Paul saying just those same words. For all those who would say Paul got his knowledge about the things of God from being a pharisee. I can hear him say loudly, “But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man. For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught [it], but by the revelation of Jesus Christ”. No wonder he said those bold and one of a kind statements; “my gospel” and my “knowledge of the mystery of Christ”! He couldn’t help it. But what does that have to do with you and me as new creation Sons and See-thru-ers? Everything! It started with Paul but it echos and continues today in everyone who has received that gospel and that mystery of Christ! Let’s talk about it!

Anatomy & Physiology of Fear

2016 Aug 21st Streaming

https://youtu.be/59ej5i66_wU

Greetings Everyone,

Wow, what a change in our weather pattern. As I mention last week how our temperature went from 105 down to 75 in about an hour. Well we have had temps in the 80’s and rainy since then. The cooler weather for this time of year has been different. I’ll continue to enjoy the gift! This weeks message stems from a question I was asked last week about fear. The comment and question came from the teaching on the process of desensitization to the person of Christ which includes the illusion, the deception, the captivity and the delusion. The whole process is initiated by the Spirit of fear. I was asked to explain the difference between good fear and bad fear. So, we’ll take a look at this idea in fellowship this week. Is there a good fear which can help us? Is there something about fear which changes because of how it makes us feel? Are we all victims of the spirit of fear? Is there a way of escape? We’ll review the anatomy and physiology of fear to see what it means for us as a new creation race believer and see-thru-er. Let’s talk about it!

Is the Church, the Building and the Body all the same?

2016 Aug 14th Streaming

Greetings to All!

We are entering mid-August tomorrow. WOW! We have just hit a cool spell here in Dallas. That cool front in the Gulf of Mexico is bringing cooler temperatures and rain. PTL! Let me give you an idea of how quickly the temperature changed on Friday afternoon. The temperature got up to 107 degrees in several places here in Dallas (we checked the weather channel and Phoenix, AZ was 99 degrees). Katherine and I were driving home around 3:30pm and the temp was at 105 degrees where we were in Mesquite. By 4:30pm the temp down to 75 degrees and it was raining. We are enjoying the cooler weather. We are going to take a look at how much desensitization to the person of Christ has made the Church, His body, anything but a new expression of Himself. Satan fears the body of Christ and it’s members in particular. Most don’t know that the church, the body and Christ are still a mystery and must be revealed by the Holy Spirit. Also, many people call themselves Christians based on what they believe or also many call where they go they go on Sunday and mid-week Bible study the church. This idea produces the orphanage and adoption phenomenon. Let’s talk about it!

“You have asked nothing in my name”

2016 Aug 7th Streaming

Greetings Everyone!
This was our first week in August and it was beyond hot here in Dallas, Texas! Rains is projected for next weekend.  That would be nice! We are going to talk about a subject we have not discussed in a while.  We will look at using, asking or praying in “the name of Jesus” or asking in “the person the Son”.  Many ask ‘in Jesus name” as these are magic words.  Can anybody “use” His name and get God to move?  Does the Father answer based on the use of the name of His Son?  Does it matter at the end of a prayer if we say “in Jesus name?” What did Jesus say about the use of His name?  Does answered prayer prove you have Christ in you?  There are things every new creation see-thru-er should know and understand concerning who they are as Sons of God, their Father! Is there power in using the name of Jesus or is there something more in sonship? Why did Jesus make this statement?
“And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give [it] you. Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy         may be full.”  Jhn 16:23-24
Let’s talk about it!
