The new creation See-thru-er and current events

 2016 July 17th Streaming

Greetings Everyone,

Wow July is half gone and so is the summer! My,my, my there is so much going on in the world today! There was the Dallas shooting, the bombing in Nice France, and a failed coup in Turkey. And let’s not forget American politics. As a new creation race believer, what do all these things mean? Are we getting closer to the end? Are these the signs that will guide us to the rapture? Exactly what are we seeing in all these events happening all over the planet? The answer to all of these questions is not psychological, philosophical, sociological, political, emotional or even theological. The process of desensitization to the person of Christ has taken far too many professing Christians and even those who acknowledge that Christ lives in them into the illusion, deception, captivity and delusional thinking in the flesh. The Spirit of fear controls what many see, hear and think in their hearts and minds. Many are reading the book of Revelations and other Bible passages to pin point exactly what is happening and sadly believing they will know what is going to happen next. The apostle Paul writes, “But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. …But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know [them], because they are spiritually discerned.” 1Co 2:9, 14. He goes on to say later, “While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen [are] temporal; but the things which are not seen [are] eternal.” 2Co 4:18. And let us not forget Jesus’ comment concerning this subject, “Men’s hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.” Luk 21:26. So where does that leave us as new creation believers? If we are desensitized, it will leave us right there with everybody else in their flesh and unsaved. Blind! Every new creation believer has birthed in them the power to live as a see-thru-er. They see-thru everything to their Father who is in complete control of everything that is seen and unseen! Nothing which has happened, which is happening and is going to happen is outside of His ultimate purpose, intent and plan of love. This does not add up for the natural man (the flesh and blood human). Let’s talk about this power and ability to see-thru everything to our Father who is saying “I’ve got this, come to me!”

Desensitization and Shipwreck Faith

Greetings Everyone!
I trust summer is going well with you all. We have been having rain here in our area of Texas paradise. We had a great thunder shower this afternoon which cooled things right down. Katherine and I went for a walk! Let’s talk about tomorrow’s fellowship. Have you ever wondered what shipwreck faith is? How does one come or arrive at a place where the apostle Paul would say “concerning faith have made shipwreck”? Because the power of desensitization to the person of Christ, far too many believers have become shipwrecked. And most don’t even know it. Just checkout social media sometimes and read the comments many professing believers say. Or sit and listen to the fear driven conversations many have concerning everything but the Father’s purpose, intent and plan for the new creation race believer. Does this mean they have shipwreck faith? Has the desensitization process taken them to a place where the person of Christ is not an issue, but the world in which they live is? There is much more we could say about the subject, but let’s wait until Sunday fellowship. Let’s talk about it!

Our Affinity and the power of desensitization to the person of Christ part 2

2016 July 3rd Streaming
https://youtu.be/I_-j1QL4QTA
Greetings Everyone,
It’s the 4th of July weekend! Today’s message is about the inner and outer person we live. Our affinity (our union) is inner but we are constantly pushed and pulled to the outer man.
But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. 10 And if Christ [be] in you, the body [is] dead because of sin; but the Spirit [is] life because of righteousness. Rom 8:9-10

Let’s first look at the definition and meaning of the word Affinity.
1: relationship by marriage (union)

2: an attraction to or liking for something

(2): an attractive force between substances or particles that causes them to enter into and remain in chemical combination
c: a person especially of the opposite sex having a particular attraction for one
In affinity is where we find our identity. And this is also where the problem lies. You see we appear to have more than one affinity or identity. Far too many new creation offspring of God the Father live in delusional thinking.

Our affinity in Christ is how all unbeliever’s become “new creatures” (creation; being; person; generation; race) 2Cor 5:17; Gal 6:15.
The affinity of Christ and the believer fulfills the Father’s plan to have sons likened unto Himself. With Christ in us we have become everything and ALL God has called us to be before the foundation of the world. Daily we should be growing into the likeness of His glory and the expressed image of His person, as our minds are renewed to who we are as a “new creation race/person” in Christ. But this is only part of what is meant by being “in Christ”. As we search the scriptures, the Holy Spirit will reveal a more dynamic, richer and fuller understanding of our union “in Christ.”
Our affinity (union) “in Christ” does not speak of the theological position of the believer, but an actual union that exists between Christ and the believer. This affinity is as a vine and branch, based upon the sharing of ONE LIFE. What makes a vine and a branch one is the sharing of the same life substance. The same sap that flows through a vine flows through a branch. When you are born again, the same Life substance that Christ has inside of Him comes into your spirit. That Life, eternal Life, puts you in union with Christ.
Secondly, this affinity between you and Christ is a union of your spirit with Him.
1Cor 6:17 says, “But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit.”
Our union with Christ is an actual, literal union that has been formed in your spirit because you posses the Life and person of Christ. This affinity was formed the moment you were born again. It was then that your spirit received eternal life-the person of Christ.

The unique ability and power God gave man

2016 June 26th Streaming

Greetings Everyone,

Well we finally broke into 100 degree temps this week here in the Dallas area.  Yes the true sign of summer! Hot! Hot! And yes hot! But as the apostle Paul tells us “Not that I speak in respect of want: (cooler weather/temperatures) for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, (that would include Texas) therewith to be content.” Phil 4:1.  This weather will change sooner or later.  But there is a unique ability and power God has created in man that will not change.  Humankind was chosen before the foundation to be in Christ.  Before we were created, God chose to create within every person a very unique and specific ability.  Some might call it a gift or a power or a capability or just an ability. Everyone has this ability whether they know they possess it, or not.  The specific and unique ability gives us all the power to become someone just as unique as our ability.  So, what is this ability? What power does it yield?  Can we lose it?  When can we start to use it?  The answer is in due season… Let’s talk about it!

Happy Father’s Day! Who can really be a Father?

2016 June 19th Streaming
https://youtu.be/NF9WdeflZJM

Greetings Everyone!
Happy Father’s Day to all the fathers! Wow our time is really flying by. We just did the Mother’s Day fellowship and now it’s Father’s Day. We will talk about fathers and what makes them who they are. But first let’s have a little history on Father’s Day. After all we did cover the history of Mother’s Day. So, let’s take a look at how we started celebrating Father’s Day.

Establishment of holiday
In 1910, a Father’s Day celebration was held in Spokane, Washington, at the YMCA by Sonora Smart Dodd, who was born in Arkansas. Its first celebration was in the Spokane YMCA on June 19, 1910. Her father, the civil war veteran William Jackson Smart, was a single parent who raised his six children there. After hearing a sermon about Jarvis’ Mother’s Day in 1909 at Central Methodist Episcopal Church, she told her pastor that fathers should have a similar holiday honoring them. Although she initially suggested June 5, her father’s birthday, the pastors did not have enough time to prepare their sermons, and the celebration was deferred to the third Sunday of June. Several local clergymen accepted the idea, and on June 19, 1910, the first Father’s Day, “sermons honoring fathers were presented throughout the city.”
However, in the 1920s, Dodd stopped promoting the celebration because she was studying in the Art Institute of Chicago, and it faded into relative obscurity, even in Spokane. In the 1930s, Dodd returned to Spokane and started promoting the celebration again, raising awareness at a national level. She had the help of those trade groups that would benefit most from the holiday, for example the manufacturers of ties, tobacco pipes, and any traditional present to fathers. By 1938 she had the help of the Father’s Day Council, founded by the New York Associated Men’s Wear Retailers to consolidate and systematize the commercial promotion. Americans resisted the holiday for its first few decades, viewing it as nothing more than an attempt by merchants to replicate the commercial success of Mother’s Day, and newspapers frequently featured cynical and sarcastic attacks and jokes. However, said merchants remained resilient and even incorporated these attacks into their advertisements. By the mid-1980s, the Father’s Council wrote that “(…) [Father’s Day] has become a Second Christmas for all the men’s gift-oriented industries.”

A bill to accord national recognition of the holiday was introduced in Congress in 1913. In 1916, President Woodrow Wilson went to Spokane to speak in a Father’s Day celebration and wanted to make it official, but Congress resisted, fearing that it would become commercialized. US President Calvin Coolidge recommended in 1924 that the day be observed by the nation, but stopped short of issuing a national proclamation. Two earlier attempts to formally recognize the holiday had been defeated by Congress. In 1957, Maine Senator Margaret Chase Smith wrote a proposal accusing Congress of ignoring fathers for 40 years while honoring mothers, thus “[singling] out just one of our two parents”. In 1966, President Lyndon B. Johnson issued the first presidential proclamation honoring fathers, designating the third Sunday in June as Father’s Day. Six years later, the day was made a permanent national holiday when President Richard Nixon signed it into law in 1972.

God who is the eternal Father has provided men with a unique ability which can only be expressed by Him. And it makes no difference who you are in the flesh. It is a power which defines humankind and gives us an understanding of the love of God who is Father to us all! Let’s talk about it!

God and Religion: Is He There

2016 June 12th Streaming

https://youtu.be/fuSDPXrj-aY

Greetings Everyone!

This was our first full week of summer. It was busy for us. We enjoyed a visit from the kids and grand kids. Our youngest grand-daughter is the cutest! We’ll miss them! Our message for this week deals with God and religion. And the question is He anywhere to be found in religion? The Father and I had a great conversation this week concerning the subject. I know how Satan through religion can and has wreaked havoc in the Body of Christ. His spirit of fear and the process of desensitization to the person makes it appear that religion is winning. It’s not and neither is he! The love of our Father is far above what we can ask or think! Our issue is not weather religion is bad or good. Weather some have it and we don’t. Weather we don’t have it and they do. The issue is, who is the person of Christ to you! Who is the person of Christ in you! Who are you as the Son of God now living as another. Let’s not be deceived. Religion will be here long after the body of Christ is gone. It is necessary for the Father’s purpose, intent and plan!

[Is](religion) then against the promises of God? God forbid: for if there had been a (religion) given which could have given life, verily righteousness should have been by (religion). Gal 3:21

But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom (religion) is crucified unto me, and I unto (religion). Gal 6:14 (words added)

Let’s talk about it!

Faith: What is it? (Manna) Part 2

2016 June 5th Streaming

https://youtu.be/yp3GY5K3__w

Greeting Everyone,

Well Friday was our last day of the school year here. It’s now officially in summer vacation. The rain has been coming down pretty much daily. PTL! Before too long we’ll be looking at those long hot summer days here in Texas! We’ll be completing the message on faith this week in fellowship. Here’s just a part of the notes for Sunday fellowship.

As you might be coming to see how so many of us can used these words so interchangeably. What we think we are saying is not always what it means by word definition. Surely when we use the word faith is might not mean the same every time we use it. So, where do we get our faith from? Is it something we possess and control? Does everyone have faith or is it something that only a lucky or blessed few? It is just for the believer or does the non-believer have also? Paul tells us this about faith and humankind.

For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think [of himself] more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith. Rom 12:3

According to Paul, God did something with faith. He dealt or bestowed, imparted, distributed and divided (split in to factions) this thing called faith to all of humankind. That means we all have faith but it is not complete faith. Our faith is incomplete in itself and we need something or someone to complete it for us. We must possess a new complete faith to operate in full assurance of our faith! Think about it from the time we were created we’ve had all the faith we needed. Yet from the beginning it was incomplete!

The faith of Adam

As we read Genesis 2:16-27; 2:19-20; 3:9-11. We see Adam have his own knowledge operating within him. This was his faith or knowledge in operation! He operated in the full measure of the knowledge he was given.

Adam’s measure of faith from these verse.

And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die. Gen 2:16-17

And out of the ground the LORD God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought [them] unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that [was] the name thereof. And Adam gave names to all cattle, and to the fowl of the air, and to every beast of the field; but for Adam there was not found an help meet for him. Gen 2:19-20

And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I [was] naked; and I hid myself. And he said, Who told thee that thou [wast] naked? Hast thou eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldest not eat? Gen 3:10-11

Where was his knowledge or faith limited? In the following areas.

He didn’t know what “die” was. He didn’t know what fear was. And he didn’t know they were naked. Limited knowledge means incomplete faith! Let’s talk about it!

Faith: What is it?

2016 May 29th Streaming

Greetings Everyone,

Well, it’s almost that time. School is almost out for the summer!  Summer vacations and fun are just around the corner.  And let’s not forget about the “heat” as well! Some are predicting a hot summer while others are predicting a mild cooler one.  I stand with Paul when he said:

“Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, [therewith] to be content.  I know both how to be abased, and I     know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.”                Phl 4:11-12

I’ve learned in whatsoever state (TX,CO, MO, NM, OK…you get the idea) therewith to be content.  But not only have I learned but I am instructed both to live in the heat and to live in the cold and not whine and complain about where I’ve been sent by my Father.  This is the faith of the Son and foundation of the new creation see-thru-er!  What is the faith of the Son? What is faith? There has been so much taught and said about faith it’s unbelievable. The vast majority has been passed down from generation to generation as a tradition and belief system.  These are some of the things I’ve heard over the years concerning faith.

-Biblical faith

-Saving faith

-True faith

-Power of faith

-Increase your faith

-Strong faith

-Weak faith

-Little faith

-Great faith

These are not all the terms used or spoken with the word faith included.  Many are exact quotes from the Bible.  But many don’t carry the same meaning as the writers.  So, what is faith and what does it mean? Are most of our thoughts and ideas on faith derived from desensitization to the person of Christ?  If so, that would make our belief concerning faith delusional and void of God’s mean of faith for us!  Let’s talk about it!

Desensitization and Losing your Salvation Part 2

2016 May 22nd Streaming

https://youtu.be/lxuglcqxsIs

Greetings  Everyone!
We trust you all had a blessed and wonderful week in Christ!  We will attempt to finish the message from last week on Losing you Salvation. The subject of losing our salvation is a very controversial topic.  But the answer is simple in Christ. So we trust you’ll join us in fellowship to conclude this message. Again the answer is yes and no!  I’m not trying to funny or mysterious.  The truth is yes some have a salvation which can be lost. And no for those who have a salvation which cannot be lost. Let’s examine it and find out the truth that is in Christ Jesus. The things most of us have been taught and believe concerning this topic is really and truly unbelievable.  So much fear! So much deception! So much captivity! So much delusional thinking! When losing salvation is really not the issue! Let’s talk about it…
Love in Christ,
