Seeing Thru to The Father?

2021 December 19th Streaming

Over the years I’ve taught on the subject of “Being a see-thru-er!” or “How do you see Christ in every situation?” I remember sitting in Bible College many years ago listening to our dear brother, Dr. Warren Litzman, teach on the “The Christ-life Position and Message.” It was during these times I first heard the term “see-thru-er” used. He went on to say “as you allow the Holy Spirit to renew your mind to who you are in Christ, you will begin to see thru everything which happens to you and around you to the Christ that was birthed and lives in you. When this renewal takes hold you will be a bonafied see-thru-er.” Since those days I’ve come to see there are two views of seeing thru in the world. There’s the “Practical” and the “Impractical” views. Let’s talk about it…

What Powers Destiny and Identity?

2021 December 12th Streaming

There is a power which drives everyone’s destiny and identity throughout their lifetime. God provided this power for all of humankind to find their need of success and to fulfillment. The power has the ability to complete every part of their being. It can make or break you! As a matter of fact all of creation, at lease human creation exercise this power to even exist. Most humans don’t truly know or understand the sheer simplicity of the power they posses. Yet everyone exercise this power daily with little knowledge of its value. And sadly, many disregard or exchange for something which appears stronger. So, what is power God has provided for both our destiny and identity? Let’s talk about it…

I Choose to Live

2021 December 5th Streaming

For many years I’ve been told I need to “walk in the Spirit”. Likewise, I’ve said to others “you need to learn to walk in the Spirit”. So, why do we say those words “walk in the Spirit”? Because that’s been the answer for the issues we have faced in this world. Yet, along with that idea came an issue we did not and could not see. The issue of “Identity”! The “Personal Identity” of where we seek to begin what we call “walking in the Spirit”. We all walk in a paths which should lead us to learn to “walk in the Spirit”? Think about that word “path” for just a minute. Paths end and change throughout everyone’s lives. The path you are on right now has to come to an end. You will either move onto a new path and live, or you stay and die.

Rom 8:13 for if you are living in accord with the flesh, you are going to die;

So, let’s talk about it…

The Power and Necessity of Empty

2021 November 28th Streaming

We trust you all had a wonderful and blessed Thanksgiving, for those who celebrate this holiday. This week in Sunday Fellowship we will look at Phil 2:5-8. These verses are some of the most powerful verses in our Bible! They are “the answer” to “the question” no one has really asked. Everyday millions of people ask millions of questions and get millions of answers. Many ask a question and many get a answer. Keep in mind, if you don’t ask the right question, you can’t get the right answer. These verses have their beginning before God created anything and provided “the question” and “the answer” all at once. It is here in these verses God reveals the power and necessity of “empty”! But does “empty” mean dead? Or, does “empty” mean death? Please remember death “DID NOT” start with man! Death is a God idea and began with Him, the whole Godhead. I was told once by my dear brother and father in Christ, Dr. Warren Litzman, “the strongest principle in God, is that life comes out of death.” These verses cover this God idea as well as the emptying. Paul gives us what the Spirit gave him. He didn’t explain the meaning of a lot of the revelations he received. That wasn’t his responsibility, but was the responsibility of Holy Spirit, who revealed these marvelous revelations and insights to the mystery in Christ. Paul even told us there were things he was shown that were “unspeakable”. And, he also said the “things of God” are revealed by the Spirit of God. So, let’s talk about it…

What is Unlearning to Learn Spiritual Identity?

2021 November 21st Streaming

Yoda, the Jedi Master of Star Wars, has a knack for saying short, snappy things that cut right to the core of a major life lesson. Whether you’re a Star Wars fan or not, his words can teach us a thing or two about accepting failure, believing in ourselves, and taking action. One of these sayings was this one, “You must unlearn what you have learned.” This particular saying became a part of our teaching in the “In Christ message” and now in the message of “Spiritual Birth and Identity of Sonship”. After all, if you think about it, it would make sense for us to learn something new we would need to unlearn or empty the old thing that can hinder the new knowledge. When it comes to Spiritual knowledge of identity, man-made religion has kept all its children in ignorance and captivity of personal identity of the flesh! This type of religion is rooted and grounded in learning good behavior and unlearning what it perceives as bad behavior. But is this the answer? Let’s talk about it…

Non-binary classifications and Spiritual Identity

2021 November 14th Streaming

Paul’s letter to the Romans forms the link in terms of contrasting binary identity versus Spiritual identity. Paul wrote the letter and I traced the core ideas of his message between chapters one through to four but most importantly Romans chapter 8.
Paul emphasizes that all humanity is hopelessly trapped in sin and needs to be rescued and that this rescue is not going to happen by people trying to obey the laws of the Torah.

Paul expounds that rather God’s righteous character has moved him to rescue the world through Jesus’ death and resurrection so that He could create a true faith-based and not multi-ethnic family of Abraham, but Sons to Him, Spiritual birthed Sons where there are non-binary identities.

Romans 8:1, KJV: “There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.”

Let’s discuss this in this next message…

Challenges to binary prompts new thinking on gender, and the exchanges of Spiritual Identity

2021 November 7th Streaming

The 21st Century is pretty much dominated by predominantly biological explanations of gender differences, which emphasize the social and cultural origins, for example, divisions of labor.
Back in 2019, my family and I visited the US for the first time and I remember sitting in a huge lounge with my dear brother David Kenebrew. There, we discussed some general issues of life and whether guilt was innate or learnt across different cultures.

To answer this question, Brother David simply said just consider a man in a tribe somewhere, where the man has never heard about the bible or about of Jesus Christ. A man who understands polygamy, and yet when he longs for another man’s wife, he waits for the man to go away, before he approaches the wife. Why is it that he first waits for him to go out and does not come to his wife whilst he is around? What is it that makes him wait? Is it shame, conscience, culpability or what? Where does this feeling come from?

King David, in Second Samuel, was tempted upon seeing Bathsheba bathe in her courtyard, from the roof of his palace. He had her brought to his chambers and had sex with her, resulting in a pregnancy. Do you think that because he was the King guilt did not apply to him?

Romans 13:14, ESV: “But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to gratify its desires.”

Well let’s take a closer look at the exchanged Spiritual Identity of the Son:

Are you a Big “S” or a little “s” ?

2021 October 31st Streaming

This week in Sunday Fellowship we are going to look at who are in Christ because of Spiritual birth. Our true Spiritual Identity! But to that we must start at the beginning. Just how important is identity in the Purpose, Intent and Plan (PIP) of God? I would say it is the cornerstone and the very foundation of God’s PIP! I know to some that might sound somewhat far out or even off. But wait, let me ask you this question. What is the first definitive thing God reveals or explains about Himself? What insight does He give us of where it all starts in His PIP? Many of you might start with the book of Genesis and the creation of heaven and earth. Or, maybe the creation of males and females in verses 26-27 of chapter one. But that’s not the beginning. And definitely not where He started to reveal and explain what He wants us to know concerning Himself! Let’s talk about it…

Overcoming Guilt, Shame, and Rejection-Conclusion

2021 October 24th Streaming

For the last three weeks we have talked about overcoming guilt, shame and rejection. We will conclude this message today and look at the final chapter.  Up until now we have only discussed the cross and its power of deliverance over these powerful three captors. This week we will a closer and in depth look at this subject.  There is a difference between overcoming and deliverance.  While one is temporary the other is permanent.  We must come to know and understanding the difference between these two for victory and freedom to be ongoing! So, let’s talk about it…

Overcoming Guilt, Shame, and Rejection-Part 3

2021 October 17th Streaming

For the last two weeks we have talked about deliverance over guilt and shame at the cross. This week we look at rejection. Rejection is much more powerful and devastating than the other two because it can start in the womb. A child can be rejected even before it’s born into the world! The other two guilt and shame come from knowledge when someone is older. But even with rejection God has provided a way of escape! What does it take to overcome these three powerful captors to these emotional needs? First, rejection is rooted and grounded in the past. It too has the power to keep the human host attached to and remain one with the personal identity of the flesh. And, just as the other two this captors’ source of power, keeps it all working together for everyone’s ongoing captivity is again the spirit of FEAR! So, what is the answer to these powerful captors? Is it the cross of Christ? The power of the cross is visible to all who need its help. The cross of Christ can be the beginning of freedom and power to overcoming rejection. But yet it (the Cross) lacks one important thing! Let’s find out.
