Greetings Everyone!<\/p>\n
We are only a few days from the first day of fall!\u00a0 The weather here in Dallas is nice for this time of year.\u00a0 We have had some rain and cool days that provided nice evening walks.\u00a0 This has been great! Our message for fellowship this week is a very controversial one.\u00a0 We are going to look at a topic which is both feared and misunderstood by far too many in the Church (the Body of Christ), religion, and most in the world.\u00a0 Deep fear and anger surround the word \u201cHomosexuality\u201d.\u00a0 If you listen to either side speaking on this issue you\u2019ll soon see fear, anger and confusion. \u00a0\u00a0This confusion concerning homosexuality will always lead to delusional thinking on either side.\u00a0 This level of thinking is a by-product of the power of desensitization to the person of Christ.\u00a0 Many believe and are told that homosexuality is a lifestyle, someone is born this way or it\u2019s an outcome of an experience. It is also thought and accepted that once someone embraces who they are as \u201cgay\u201d or \u201chomosexual,\u201d they\u2019ll become comfortable with themselves and their \u201ctrue\u201d self. Also, one of the most powerful beliefs is: once you embrace who you really are, you can never go back or escape<\/u><\/em> from this lifestyle.<\/p>\nAlthough we are going to discuss homosexuality in this message, I will be including the terms transgender, same sex marriage, and sex-change surgery.\u00a0 I know these words don\u2019t all mean the same thing technically, but each of them are rooted and grounded in the same place.\u00a0 They also come from the same mind with the same effect on each person who operates under its influence.\u00a0 Lastly, my intent in today\u2019s message is to confirm what the apostle Paul said in Ephesians chapter 3.<\/p>\n
And to make all [men] see what [is] the fellowship of the mystery<\/u>, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ:\u00a0 <\/em>Eph 3:9<\/p>\nThis does not mean to make all men believe<\/em> what is being said.\u00a0 That\u2019s not my job here.\u00a0 But it is my job or responsibility to share the revelation of the mystery as clearly as I have received it from my Father.\u00a0 Now please listen very carefully.\u00a0 It doesn\u2019t matter what you believe about this issue of homosexuality; most are too desensitized to see through to Christ!\u00a0 Desensitization to the person of Christ keeps fear and anger paralyzing everyone on either side of this issue.\u00a0 Yes, I said everyone – those who believe it is wrong<\/em> and those who believe there\u2019s nothing wrong<\/em> with this lifestyle or practice. \u00a0This message is for both those who consider themselves gay or straight; homosexual or heterosexual. The message is also for those who consider themselves Christian but are not actually born again, and for those who are born again believers \u2013 regardless of their maturity. There is something bigger than homosexual or heterosexual relations and relationships going on.\u00a0 Let’s talk about it!<\/p>\nLove in Christ,<\/p>\n
