Greetings Everyone!<\/p>\n
We trust all is well with you all.\u00a0 We have had a busy three weeks.\u00a0 This past Monday Katherine’s mom went to be with the Lord.\u00a0 We were there this past weekend and saw her before she pasted.\u00a0 The Father is so faithful (Eph 1:9)!\u00a0 We have been really busy on the go all week.\u00a0 As new creation see-thru-ers we stand with the apostle Paul when he said “Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, [therewith] to be content.”\u00a0 Thank you for your prayers and encouragement! This week we continue with our message on Homosexuality and the Power of Desensitization.\u00a0 This week will be part 3 looking at “This is the way God Made Me.”<\/p>\n
This idea has come about because of the need to find an answer for the feelings and emotions that drive homosexuality.\u00a0 Many advocate and believe that those who become \u201cgay\u201d or enter the \u201chomosexual life style\u201d are not that way by choice.\u00a0 They say these powerful feelings and emotions didn\u2019t come by a choice made by the individual but rather are there by birth.\u00a0 These individuals are born that way because of their genetic predisposition.\u00a0 They are born with a \u201cgay gene\u201d and this makes their actions a normal natural response to who they are by birth.\u00a0 \u00a0They are not to blame for their sexual or gender choices and decisions. After all if someone is born with certain genetic traits, there is nothing they can do about it except live the way they were born.<\/p>\n
This may sound good and acceptable if you are looking for justification.\u00a0 A very popular statement going around today is, \u201cit\u2019s not your fault\u201d.\u00a0 If you listen and buy into that line of thinking, then nothing anyone does is their fault. Ultimately this means they have no responsibility or accountability for their decisions and actions.\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0So, let\u2019s take a look at the \u201cgay gene\u201d idea.\u00a0 \u00a0Homosexuals are identified not by a trait or a gene, but rather by their actions.\u00a0 Without the action, they would be indistinguishable from any other person.\u00a0 It is only when they alter their behavior that they become a group that is recognized as being different.\u00a0 If we were to acknowledge momentarily that homosexuality is genetic, then one could conclude that those individuals were not responsible for being homosexual.\u00a0Their actions and behaviors would be outside of their control.\u00a0 They would simply be living who they are by birth.\u00a0 Let’s talk about it…..<\/p>\n
