{"id":1134,"date":"2017-01-08T13:03:07","date_gmt":"2017-01-08T19:03:07","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.dotdot--dot.com\/inchristmessage\/wordpress\/?p=1134"},"modified":"2025-06-08T09:46:30","modified_gmt":"2025-06-08T15:46:30","slug":"960-2-2-2-2-2-2-2-2-2-2-2-2-3-2-2-2-3-2-2-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.inchristmessage.org\/wordpress\/?p=1134","title":{"rendered":"&#8220;And the life which I now live in the flesh&#8221; Then and Now"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>2017 Jan 8th Streaming<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/Lesm77urN78\">https:\/\/youtu.be\/Lesm77urN78<\/a><\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n<p>The message today will continue with Paul&#8217;s revelation of Galatians 2:20.<\/p>\n<p><em>I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless; I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: <strong>and the life which I now live in the flesh<\/strong> I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. <\/em><\/p>\n<p>The first week we look at <strong>&#8220;I am crucified with Christ<\/strong>&#8221; &#8211; how Paul came to see he died with Christ on the cross.\u00a0 The power of this revelation is hard to wrap your mind around.\u00a0 You cannot come to this knowledge and understanding without the Holy Spirit revealing you died at the cross.<\/p>\n<p>Next, we looked at his next statement in this verse <strong>&#8220;nevertheless less I live&#8221;<\/strong>. Paul saw his death, yet knew he lived after the cross.\u00a0 We also looked at the personal pronouns in this verse and how they fit into his revelation. This verse is loaded with these personal pronouns: I , me, and my.\u00a0 The first personal pronoun is<\/p>\n<p>(a) in union with death,<\/p>\n<p>(b) identified with his dead,<\/p>\n<p>(c) died at the time of the cross,<\/p>\n<p>(d) can live after the cross.<\/p>\n<p>Before the revelation, Paul knew he still physically lived &#8211; walked and talked as the person he knew himself to be in the flesh. \u00a0But when the revelation of Christ came, his whole world of &#8220;I, me, my&#8221; was turned upside down.\u00a0\u00a0 He could clearly see an &#8220;I&#8221; that died and now there was an &#8220;I&#8221; that lived.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>2017 Jan 8th Streaming The message today will continue with Paul&#8217;s revelation of Galatians 2:20.
