Far too many of us continually take on more information which usually just continues to support our deep rooted fears, ideas, and belief system.\u00a0 And, like most humans, we strive to keep the security of our beliefs within the comfort zone.\u00a0 After all, we dare not forsake or question anything we&#8217;ve been told or taught concerning our understanding of the person of Christ or the truth of the gospel.\u00a0 This is where <i>compartmentalization with its cognitive dissonance <\/i>enters, and the struggle with identity begins.\u00a0 The way to end this struggle is simple &#8211; just receive fresh revelation from the Holy Spirit. Sadly, that&#8217;s not usually possible, because we&#8217;re stuck in the past, with all of our same old fears and beliefs!\u00a0 We want what we have always believed to remain intact.\u00a0 Amen for the religion we proclaim that has made us free!\u00a0 Jesus was asked this question in the gospel of John.\u00a0 <\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-family: verdana, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: medium;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-family: verdana, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: medium;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0&#8220;<i>And [some] of the Pharisees which were with him heard these words, and said unto him, Are we blind also?\u00a0 Jesus said unto them, If ye were blind, \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 ye should have no sin: but now ye say, We see; therefore your sin remaineth<\/i>.&#8221; Jhn 9:40-41. <\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-family: verdana, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: medium;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-family: verdana, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: medium;\">There is more to discuss on this matter.\u00a0 So, let&#8217;s talk about it&#8230;.<\/span><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>2018 April\u00a0 8th Streaming This week our message is on compartmentalization and it&#8217;s use in the struggle with identity &#8211; the place we refuse to go and the person we deny we&#8217;ve become.\u00a0 Why is that?\u00a0 Is it just desensitization to the person of Christ?\u00a0 No, but it is the source.
