\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0These have indeed an appearance of wisdom in promoting rigor of devotion and self-abasement and severity to the body, but they are of no value in checking the \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0indulgence of the flesh.&#8221;<\/i><\/div>\n<div style=\"font-size: 16px; font-family: bookman old style, new york, times, serif;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"font-size: 16px; font-family: bookman old style, new york, times, serif;\">What about this declaration in religion?<\/div>\n<div style=\"font-size: 16px; font-family: bookman old style, new york, times, serif;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<i>Luk 18:11-12 The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men [are], extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as \u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0 this publican. I fast twice in the week, I give tithes of all that I possess.<\/i><\/div>\n<div style=\"font-size: 16px; font-family: bookman old style, new york, times, serif;\"><i>\u00a0<\/i><\/div>\n<div style=\"font-size: 16px; font-family: bookman old style, new york, times, serif;\">Most of us draw our belief of fasting from a co-mingled knowledge of Old and New Testament teachings.\u00a0 The wonderful two person gospel we&#8217;ve been learning for about a year now.\u00a0 There&#8217;s a lot of work in the form of fasting we&#8217;ve been practicing.\u00a0 Is there a more excellent way?
