For many years I\u2019ve heard and have seen so many people say <i>\u201cyep, I know just what you\u2019re going through.\u00a0 I had the same thing happen to me. And, believe me, I know exactly how you\u2019re feeling.\u201d<\/i>\u00a0 Or this, \u201c<i>well, I wish I could say I don\u2019t know what you\u2019re talking about and going through. But I do.\u201c\u00a0 <\/i>\u00a0While someone is going through a difficult time, whether they are responsible for it or not, we often attempt to find common ground or identify with them during these times by aligning ourselves with that situation to show how much we understand.\u00a0 But, is this best thing for them? Is it the best way to comfort them?\u00a0 Is this what God has provided to comfort someone going through circumstances &amp; situations?\u00a0 I\u2019ve also heard this coming from the other side of the discussion as well. \u00a0Things like, <i>\u201cwell, you can\u2019t provide me anything until you\u2019ve walked in my shoes for a while.\u201d<\/i> Or, \u201c<i>please I need someone who\u2019s gone through what I\u2019m going through to really understand my need.\u201d<\/i>\u00a0 All of these have one thing in common.\u00a0 Let&#8217;s talk about it&#8230;<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>2018 Oct 21th Streaming The message this week is on the need to identify with the intent to comfort.
