It has been summarized that Paul\u2019s dominant concern in Romans is salvation\u2014God\u2019s reconcili\u00adation of the world through the cross of Jesus Christ. Other scholars write that Romans is the most succinct, clear, and systematic presentation of Christian doctrine in all of scripture.<\/p>\n<p>I have a unique take on Romans, but one thing I know for certain is that Paul is defining his gospel in his letter to the church in Rome. Paul\u2019s gospel is the gospel of reconciliation. It defines his ministry. The problem in the church today is that they do not understand reconciliation. Paul writes that God has reconciled us unto Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation.
