But what about Paul\u2019s gospel? The gospel has become the very definition of the illusion of explanatory depth. Everybody uses the term, but very few can tell you what it means. The <strong>illusion of explanatory depth<\/strong> (<strong>IOED<\/strong>) is cognitive bias or an illusion where people tend to believe they understand a topic better than they do. So, it is with the gospel. It is becoming increasingly clearer that many leaders of the Church cannot give a clear and concise definition of the gospel.
