And because they are \u201cchildren of the light\u201d and \u201cchildren of the day\u201d, they should not be surprised by either of these events as opposed to those who are spiritually asleep living in spiritual darkness.<\/p>\n<p>He encourages them to be alert and sober, and that they are to put on the armor of faith, love and hope.<\/p>\n<p>Paul\u2019s emphasizing and reminding the church of the importance of encouraging, comforting, supporting, and being patient and kind towards one another continues to be of paramount importance for Spiritual growth and maturity.<\/p>\n<p>Though the church of Thessalonica was experiencing persecution Paul calls for them to rejoice always, to pray without ceasing and to give thanks in everything, because \u201cthis is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning them.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>We are living in an hour where the modern \u201cchurch\u201d of today may not be suffering persecution like the early churches but, many Spiritual Sons are confused as to whether they are in \u201cthe will of God\u201d or not.
