The Mystery of Sonship: The Exchanged Identity of Sin and Righteousness

This week in fellowship we will discuss “The Exchanged Identity of Sin and Righteousness.” The fear and lack of knowledge concerning “Sin and Righteousness” in the church and outside the church is amazing. Although I am amazed, I am definitely in no way surprised! Think about it for a minute. We all live in the post resurrection of Christ, the only time God has provided for man to receive Spiritual Birth and begin again as another person Spiritually. Yet the vast majority in the church today live, move and have the mindset of before the cross, fixed on the issues of Sin and righteousness of the law. This produces and yields a self correcting theology of law and works to avoid sin to become more righteousness. The “be like Jesus” format, with WWJD mentality! They are sadly, ever learning but never coming to the knowledge of Spiritual Identity, while living in the dispensation of Sonship! So, what does the exchanged identity of sin and righteousness mean?
