The Meaning of Self-Control and Identity

2018 April 29th Streaming

This week we will talk about the subject of “temperance or Self-Control” and identity.   We discussed the word on” present truth” and  “ongoing truth” in our last time of fellowship.   After fellowship we continued our discussion on “present truth” and “ongoing truth” as they relate to temperance or self-control and identity in Christ as the Son(s) of God.  The apostles Paul and Peter tell us something about the word temperance or self-control. But let’s talk about it….

The Truth: Present or Ongoing?

2018 April 22nd Streaming

The tide of fear and it’s illusion is becoming rampart and rising daily! The undertow from it’s current is pulling so many people down into deception (buying into fear’s illusion) and captivity (under the control of another). What is the result of this rising tide of fear? Delusional thinking with desensitization to the person of Christ. Sadly, the tide of fear and it’s undertow of illusions has no respecter of person. It is drowning the non-believer and the believer alike. Those who are in union with Christ should know better but don’t, are being sucked down into the abyss of the unconditional and unforgiving power of fear! As a new creation believer and Son of God we should be able to rightly divide the word of present or ongoing truth! And, not be overcome by the tide of fear. Why are so many being drowned? Let’s talk about it…..

The Book of Hezekiah and Suitcase Theology

2018 April  15th Streaming

We’ve had several comments on last week’s message “Compartmentalization and the struggle over Identity”.  So, our message this week is a little different. As you can see by the title it’s on the “Book of Hezekiah”. There is a lot of theology base on this book.  We will be looking into several verses in this book.  What can we learn this old testament book?  Over the years I’ve talked to many people who quote from the verses in this book.  Some even base their salvation, walk with God, and belief on the Bible in what they have been told and taught from Hezekiah.  Can we find the fellowship of the mystery and revelation of Christ written within it’s pages as some believe?  Are the things found in this book relevant to who we are in Christ?  I think some of you might be surprised just how deep many believe in the doctrines from it’s verses!. There’s more to discuss on this matter. Let’s talk about it…

Compartmentalization and the struggle over Identity

2018 April  8th Streaming

This week our message is on compartmentalization and it’s use in the struggle with identity – the place we refuse to go and the person we deny we’ve become.  Why is that?  Is it just desensitization to the person of Christ?  No, but it is the source. Compartmentalization is the means by which many attempt to escape the struggle of true identity!  Many of us have very deep rooted fears and beliefs. Far too many of us continually take on more information which usually just continues to support our deep rooted fears, ideas, and belief system.  And, like most humans, we strive to keep the security of our beliefs within the comfort zone.  After all, we dare not forsake or question anything we’ve been told or taught concerning our understanding of the person of Christ or the truth of the gospel.  This is where compartmentalization with its cognitive dissonance enters, and the struggle with identity begins.  The way to end this struggle is simple – just receive fresh revelation from the Holy Spirit. Sadly, that’s not usually possible, because we’re stuck in the past, with all of our same old fears and beliefs!  We want what we have always believed to remain intact.  Amen for the religion we proclaim that has made us free!  Jesus was asked this question in the gospel of John.

“And [some] of the Pharisees which were with him heard these words, and said unto him, Are we blind also?  Jesus said unto them, If ye were blind,           ye should have no sin: but now ye say, We see; therefore your sin remaineth.” Jhn 9:40-41.

There is more to discuss on this matter.  So, let’s talk about it….

“One blood all nations of men”

2018 April 1st Streaming

Well, here we are celebrating Easter Sunday and April fools’ Day at the same time. WOW, what a day of great contrasts. A day of conformation.  You see to some Easter and the resurrection of Jesus is foolish. So, those of us who believe He rose from the dead are celebrating April Fools’ every Easter.  And, of course those who have embraced Jesus’ resurrection as real and true see those who do not believe as being April Fools’ every day!   OK, moving on.  We want to thank all of you who sent in questions for our Q&A these part two weeks of fellowship. We trust you received some clarity and understanding in those things you were seeking.   Let me say this.  Most of us have an incredibly difficult time trying to reconcile body & soul identity into Spirit & soul identity and living.  This type of thinking will not and cannot work.  In fact it will never work!  I encourage you to STOP the insanity!  You are not who you were before you received the Spirit or person of Christ.  You have been birthed to be another person before God the Father.  He is your true Father and Only Father.
The question then is; who are you to Him?  Some might say, “a child of the King” or “”a child of God” some would even say “a new creation in Christ Jesus” or “a son of God”.  Those words and statements might be true but none of them has the power to transform those who use them into “another person” as “the Son of God”.  Why? Because all of those statements leave room for body & soul identity and living.  The don’t acknowledge “Oneness” and the identity of another person a new creation.  And, that beloved is the foundation of the ongoing struggle in this world! Sadly, I know many will not come to receive and know this liberating place in our Father. A place in Himself He has opened to all of us in these last days.  A place to enter into a new and fresh part of Himself in which we cannot comprehended with our current theology and doctrine.  A place where the faith of the Father and the faith of the Son are ONE! Where the image of Son and Father are ONE!  I also know the spirit of fear will continue to cause many to stay in his illusion, deception, captivity and delusional thinking, beliefs, and doctrines of desensitization to the person of Christ.  Maybe some of you reading this email are still hanging out trying to fix your box and suitcase identity.  Still dealing with sins of the flesh.  Trying to be obedient. Trying to please God (the one of the old testament). Maybe trying to be like Jesus. Which is the ongoing dilemma in the two person gospel of me and Jesus. That fits the correction of body-soul identity. Fear will cause us to fight the simplicity that is in Christ! The Father and you are one! Who are you to Him?
If no one else in the body of Christ or the church receives this but you, then you’ll be the only Son with an intimacy of love no one else has but you!  Again, I would encourage you to let go of your past! Union must give way to Oneness and Oneness will yield its intimate fruit of identity as the Son of God!  Many of you are stuck asking and looking for something and someone that you already posses.  Again, STOP the insanity and let go of your past! No matter how precious or wonderful it appears. Today at this very moment it is your weakness to Sonship.
That brings me to our message for this Sunday in fellowship, “one blood all nations of men”.  If you listen to men, every group has it’s own blood. Every ethic group and culture is trying to preserve it’s unique identity in their box.  Is there just “one blood for all men”?  What are they or even some of us who call ourselves Christians (I use this word sparingly) missing?  There are some crazy things going on the wold today.  Does everyone bleed the same?  Is there a new blood covenant? Are we washed in the blood?  Is everyone sustained and kept by the blood of Jesus? Is He still bleeding for humankind? Let’s talk about it….
