Desensitization to the person of Christ and Our Hope-2

https://youtu.be/V84ZnjZ627s

When we hear the word “Hope” one of the first things that comes to mind is someone trusting that a certain event or thing will come to past. An expectation. Hope appears to be a desired wish or dream to come true. In this idea hope and trust seem to be interchangeable. Many might say these words mean the same thing depending on who’s using them. How many times have you heard someone say “I’m hoping for the best” or “I’m trusting everything will work out OK?” Because many have been desensitized to the person of Christ “Hope” has become a human aspiration for endurance. This aspiration is forged by a strong will and deep conviction and trust. This kind of “hope” is the human ability and capacity created in everyone. All exercise this “hope” in varying degrees. Human “hope” has a beginning and an end. But is there a better “hope”? What does the Bible say about “hope”?
The word Hope is used 121 times in KJV and 144 ESV and the NIV topping all with 159
As we who have received Christ have received Hope in the person of Christ now living in us. Our hope is not from this world or of this world! Our hope is spiritual. This is not understood by anyone who has not received hope as the person of Christ. God the Father has chosen to birth us to Himself, has birthed Christ in us as our Life, Righteousness, Sanctification, Redemption, and Hope. Which is all eternal.
What does it mean to have Christ in us as our life and hope?
-it fulfills His calling
-it fulfills our calling
-it fulfills God promise of eternal life
-only the birthed child of God has hope as a person in them.
-we are provided a living hope which sustains us!
-we never hopeless.
-the love of our hope cast out the fear which seek to desensitize us.
-our hope will never fail neither can we fail our hope!
-All hope that is not the person of Christ WILL FAIL.

From a very early age the world has programmed our minds to produce a performance based output of life. If we’re not doing, moving, making, giving and a host of other things, we’re unsuccessful and out of compliance which lead’s to unhappiness.  This way of thinking is a distraction to the Christ life and a known tactic of the enemy.  Great news – there is a way out! Join me on Sunday to talk about the liberating truth.

The Desensitization to the person of Christ and Politics Part 2

Satan has two main portals of attacks on humankind.  They are religion and politics.  These portals are his key avenues of desensitization to the person of Christ. Why? Because out of these two the spirit of fear easily captures the hearts and soul/minds of humankind for security, freedom, identity, value, worth and a sense of control.
We have look at Religion so now let’s take a look at Politics.
Here are some definitions of Politics;
: the activities associated with the governance of a country or other area, especially the debate or conflict among individuals or parties having or hoping to achieve power and control.
: a particular set of political beliefs or principles.
: activities that relate to influencing the actions and policies of a government or getting and keeping power in a government.
Politics at its root has the same fear based.  Everyone who lives in fear has put hope and trust in a political system! They are looking for the system to provide the answer! Because of desensitization humans are steeped in Political hope.
This statement was written about the idea of politics. Very interesting comments.
“politics is the process of plotting and scheduling of legitimate power and positioning individuals in authority to influence others within a geographical location.”
“by political definition, morality involved principles concerning the distinction between right and wrong…”

The word Politics is not used in the Bible. It only used in the New Testament. But word government is used several times:
NOTE: Government vs Politics
Government refers to the group of people that run the country. On the other hand, politics refers to the process followed by the leaders of political groups who rule the country. As a matter of fact, the path of the government is free from the interference by the common man. On the other hand, politics has the involvement of the common man to a greater extent. This is one of the main differences between government and politics.
Simple working definition: Men who are elected or appointed to run things (government) and the political process that group (those elected or appointed) uses to run things.

So, what makes desensitization so effective?
His weapon of choice. Who’s weapon? The weapon of the great dragon, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan formerly known as Lucifer. What then is his weapon? His weapon of choice is “fear”. It is what he used from the beginning. It is the spiritual carbon monoxide poison for the human soul/mind! It is by the spirit of fear that the process of desensitization to the person of Christ is so effective. If we could see, know and understand just how deep he hates all humans no matter how old or how young. No matter how good or how bad. No matter religious or have what they consider “no religion” at all. We are all hated and despised because of who we are called to become. The call came in the “Gap” before world begin; before the foundation of the world! It cannot be undone. The holy called fixed us to become children of God, heirs of God joint-heirs with Christ. A new position and identity which is not flesh and blood (For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate [to be] conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren Rom 8:29). He was the first to say to God we are unworthy to set down at the right hand of the throne of God. No other creature has been called to sit in such a glorious position. Except humans! There are many verses which bear this God idea. Here are just a few of them for now.
